FAQ

What units are in the Mongol Battle Pass?
Three, per All Things How's Update 3 report: Nökör and Bataar at 3 stars, and Khorchin at 4 stars — all unlocked through Battle Pass progression rather than banner summons.
Is the Laestrygonian in the Battle Pass?
No. The first 5-star Laestrygonian and the 4-star Myrmidon sit outside the pass on the summon banner — the pass is the progression lane, the banner is the luck lane.
How do you progress the Mongol Battle Pass?
The pass progression details (tier list, free-vs-paid track, XP sources) have not been published in the sources reviewed — only the three units and their star levels are confirmed. This page updates as the community documents the track.
Is the Battle Pass worth it for free players?
The three units arrive through progression regardless of banner luck, which makes the pass the most predictable part of Update 3's roster additions — but the free-vs-paid track split is not yet documented, so no value verdict is possible yet.

What the Mongol Battle Pass Is

Update 3 split its roster additions into two lanes, and the Battle Pass is the predictable one:

Lane Units How you get them
Mongol Battle Pass Nökör (3★), Bataar (3★), Khorchin (4★) Pass progression — play and unlock
Summon banner Laestrygonian (5★), Myrmidon (4★) Banner luck — a reported 0.01% for the 5★

The pass units are all Mongol-themed, matching the update’s branding — the official Roblox experience now carries a Mongols prefix. Khorchin at 4 stars is the headline: a 4-star unit reachable without touching the banner is the same no-luck logic that makes the evolution chains valuable.

What Is and Isn’t Confirmed

Everything confirmed about the pass so far comes from All Things How’s report of the Discord patch notes:

  • ✅ Three units: Nökör (3★), Bataar (3★), Khorchin (4★)
  • ✅ Unlocked through pass progression, not banner summons
  • ❌ Tier count, free-vs-paid track split, XP-per-tier rates — not published in the sources reviewed
  • ❌ Whether the pass units appear on the banner later — not documented

How the Pass Fits Update 3’s Economy

The pass interacts with the update’s other systems in one practical loop:

  1. Daily play funds everything. Quests, daily rewards and ranked wins pay Skill Crystals — and progression on the pass comes from the same playing, so one daily session advances both lanes.
  2. Pass units feed the Skill Tree. Nökör, Bataar and Khorchin are new units, which means new Skill Tree paths — crystals you would spend anyway now have three more valid targets.
  3. Khorchin changes tier-list math. A 4-star through progression is a roster anchor for players who never see the 5★ banner hit — the unit tier list is the place to watch for where the community lands on it.
